Our 2010-2011 season, New Beginnings, celebrates not only our 45th anniversary, but also the dawning of a new decade. We’re excited about embarking on this new year full of gorgeous and interesting music, and imaginative arrangements and performances.

The season begins on October 10, 2010, with our annual Salon Concert and Auction entitled The Power of Ten. WomenSing will host our annual salon concert at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Lafayette.

Performances will feature guest guitarist Michael Goldberg and artistic director Martín Benvenuto, performing music by J.S. Bach, Manuel Ponce and John Dowland. The evening also features a special appearance of the Acalanes High School women’s ensemble Bella Voce, and WomenSing performing Craig Hella Johnson’s touching Will there really be a morning?

In addition to our musical offerings, the evening will include a silent auction, elegant appetizers, a variety of wines to sample, and the opportunity to reconnect with your fellow music lovers.
