At the center of our program will be featured composer Libby Larsen’s Stepping Westward, for SSA chorus, oboe, handbells and marimba, celebrating the resourcefulness and strength of women. Also included is authentic American folk music drawn from pioneer experiences, and a set of traditional and unexpected miniature love songs. Acalanes High School Bella Voce and Miramonte High School Women’s Ensemble join us in unveiling our third-year Youth Inspiring Youth premieres by Nick Norton and Lauren McLaren.
