A concert of dreams and determination ‒ tenderness and illumination.

At the center of our program is featured composer Libby Larsen’s Stepping Westward with oboe, handbells, and marimba, celebrating the resourcefulness and strength of women. We include music drawn from our folk history ‒ we’ll step lively with a fiddle! There will be a set of unexpected miniature love songs.

Joining us is the Acalanes High School Bella Voce and Miramonte High School Women’s Ensemble unveiling our third-year Youth Inspiring Youth premieres, A Precious Pearl by Lauren McLaren and Moon Songs by Nick Norton. Come early to hear our composers at the pre-concert talk.
